It was a joyous occasion as some of our cell members gathered in church this afternoon to witness the baptism of our beloved Kelvin & Iris ( with their 2 daughters ), as shown from the photos taken below:-

Take Me In...To The Holy Of Holies!

Brothers & Sisters, just wanted to share this awesome worship song entitled "Take Me In" with everyone...

It's my prayer that this will also be our constant inner cry to the Lord to take us into the Holy of Holies, as we enter this year with a desire to seek the Lord in prayer for many breakthroughs individually, as a cell & as a church!

Re: Cell Blog - Looking back in 2009 and looking forward in 2010

Many thanks to Sis Karen Koh for taking that great effort in publishing the 1st blog posting of this year 2010!

Hope that Karen's post will be the CATALYST for many more posts to come from the rest of the cell members!

Indeed there's so much thanksgiving & praises that we can truly testify of God's grace, mercy & faithfulness, be it in good times OR bad times!

Here again I'm reminded of the movie "Facing The Giants" that most of us have watched at least once, where the team captain declared with great conviction that "If we win, we praise Him; if we lose, we still praise Him!"

'Cos just assuming that posture of praise is already in itself a declaration of victory ! Amen!

It's Christmas time again & all cell members & our families had a great time of fun, food & fellowship together at Riverlife's Rooftop Terrace...(up there for the last time)!

Kevin & Iris - Home Blessing

On that Saturday early afternoon on 25th July 2009, we were all delighted to be present at the home of sister Iris & brother Kevin for a simple home blessing!

And I trust all of us present there were amazed by the love of God as brother Kevin shared about his personal encounter & spiritual transformation from one who's completely alien to God, into one who experienced Him in a miraculous way as God demonstrates His presence, love & concern to Kevin in a practical way!

Indeed, our God is an AWESOME GOD !!

We give our God all the glory & praise for displaying His steadfast love to this beloved family!

Last but not least, sister Iris has shared with us on the worship song "Disciple" by a local christian singer Kelvin Soh, that ministers to her greatly & I'm posting the YouTube video version here as our way of helping Iris & Kevin commemorate this key spiritual milestone for their family!

It is our prayer that this song will also be the couple's way of saying " As for me & my family, we will serve the Lord!" & be willing DISCIPLES for Him...hallelujah!!

Jimmy & Junie's 11th Anniversary

Yesterday's cell meeting was indeed a spiritual breakthrough for our cell members as we evidently experienced the touch of the Holy Spirit during the worship!

At the same time, it was also the exact day of Jimmy & Junie's 11th wedding anniversay!

And for that special occasion, our cell's "creative director" specially hand-crafted a commemorative "Ray-sized" T-shirt embedded with colourful words & pictures, complete with a matching hanger stringed with colourful beads! (Apologies...forgot to capture it with my camera!)

Anyway, here's the picture we took of the couple & their "Sunshine Ray"...



The Lord continue to bless this family & use them as a channel of blessing to many others...

Let's learn to declare on a daily basis that Jesus is the "Glorious One" in our lives no matter how we feel...let this worship song guide you in that direction:-

El Shaddai Worship Conference 2009

Our usual Friday evening cell meeting this week was specially "replaced" by the El Shaddai Worship Conference hosted at CEFC which most of the cell members attended.

The draw factor was the guest speaker & musician Michael Card whose songs I used to listen to during my academic years. And I never knew that all along he has been playing the normal right-handed guitar in a left-handed style...truly amazingly!

Unlike any other present day worship songs, Michael's songs are somewhat solemn but moving & they should be as it matches perfectly with the lyrics which depicts God's great sacrificial love for mankind fulfilled thru' His only Son Jesus who became the sacrificial Lamb of God on our behalf. The key passage was Phil 2:5-11.

Nevertheless, I know I'll never grow tired of listening to these songs as it always never fails to minister to my heart & spirit.
