Take Me In...To The Holy Of Holies!

Brothers & Sisters, just wanted to share this awesome worship song entitled "Take Me In" with everyone...

It's my prayer that this will also be our constant inner cry to the Lord to take us into the Holy of Holies, as we enter this year with a desire to seek the Lord in prayer for many breakthroughs individually, as a cell & as a church!

Re: Cell Blog - Looking back in 2009 and looking forward in 2010

Many thanks to Sis Karen Koh for taking that great effort in publishing the 1st blog posting of this year 2010!

Hope that Karen's post will be the CATALYST for many more posts to come from the rest of the cell members!

Indeed there's so much thanksgiving & praises that we can truly testify of God's grace, mercy & faithfulness, be it in good times OR bad times!

Here again I'm reminded of the movie "Facing The Giants" that most of us have watched at least once, where the team captain declared with great conviction that "If we win, we praise Him; if we lose, we still praise Him!"

'Cos just assuming that posture of praise is already in itself a declaration of victory ! Amen!

Looking back with Thanksgiving in 2009 & Looking forward with Excitement in 2010

I'm supposed to send this post in our cell blog in beginning of 2010 but haven’t had the time to do so until now.

As I looked back in end 2009, I have so much thanksgiving and praises for our Heavenly Father for His Love, Grace, Mercy and Faithfulness that carried me through 2009 .

Let me list a few of them here :

1. God’s grace see me through many challenges in my work. He has straightened the path for me amidst the roadblocks that I have encountered. I have great support from my customers and colleagues over a couple of tough initiatives that I have to execute.

2. I have gained so much take away from the study of 4 old testaments books in BSF (Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy) . This has deepened my understanding and appreciation for old testaments. It was tough for me to complete 4 books within 10months as I hardly have time to do BSF homework on weekdays. God has given me the physical and spiritual strength to be able to go for class every week and protected my time to complete the homework during weekends. I look forward for more treasures in the bible as I embark on the book of John in Feb .

3. God has surfaced to me areas that I need to work on and be submissive to His pruning. This was such a great revelation to me as I didn’t realize that it is the antidote to my weakness that I want to work on personally but don’t know how to get going. I’m more conscious and aware of my action now and I want to look upon God's power to help me overcome my weakness.

4. Great sense of peace & calmness amidst the nerve breaking “PSLE year”. God gave me the assurance that He knows Jia Yi better than anyone else . Our Heavenly Father has already set apart a school for Jia Yi.....He knows what school best suits her , according to her ability. Most of my friends and colleagues were amazed that I’m not at all ‘kum chiong’ over PSLE J

I’m entering into 2010 with excitement and great anticipation over God’s plan for me this year. As I seek Him over area of my spiritual walk with Him this year, He showed me the word “Simplicity’ repeatedly. I’m waiting to uncover what God has installed for me .

In begining of Jan,I have a wonderful encounter with the Lord during a recent Silence & Solitude retreat with Deb & Belinda. God showed me the reason for my struggle in my Christian’s walk and gave me some words which I need to seek Him more for clarity and direction.
