Our Hope In The Lord

As believers in our Lord Jesus, we are reminded to always have our hope in the Lord.

Our cell member Karen Ong was recently reminded of this verse in Isaiah 40 :31 & felt that this should be one of the key verses we should always remember when we encounter challenges & difficulties that will shake our faith in the Lord or even attempt to drive us to give up that hope.

Here's the verse:
"but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

May each of us truly be strengthened as we continue to claim this verse in our daily lives.

Home Cell Group of Debbie & Johnny Chua!

Hi Friends,

Welcome to this blog which will be focused on my cell group at Pasir Ris Street 21 .

My name is Debbie Chua-Ang & I'm the cell leader for cell group PR4B under Riverlife Church.

Riverlife Church is located at 6 Loyang Besar Close, & you can find more details about my church at
www.riverlife.org.sg .

Our cell group meets once a week on Fridays starting at 8:30pm & ends at 10:00pm followed by half an hour or so of fellowship.

The cell meeting program comprises the following breakdown:-
(1)Welcome
(2)Worship
(3)Discussion of Sunday Sermon & Sharing.
(4)Prayer
(5)Fellowship

In the days & weeks to come, I'll be posting a photo displaying all our cell members, complete with a brief introduction of each member or couple represented in this group.

We will also post photos of the cell events & activities as they come along.

It's our way of extending a warm welcome to you if you are looking to be part of a cell group in Riverlife Church.

As a believer, I can't emphasise enough on the importance of being part of God's family, as this verse in Hebrews 10: 24,25 echoes my heartbeat:

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (NIV)

May God bless you & your family richly & speak to you about the importance of being a part of His family in this church.

Feel free to contact me at
debb.ang@gmail.com or post a comment into any of the posts in this blog together with your contact details, & I'll get in touch with you.

God bless,
Debbie & Johnny Chua
